Must haves when you have your baby.

Hi,  people often ask me 'what baby items/products are a must have for a new mother.

I would definitely recommend people getting a Grobag as they are terrific and very useful.
Our son is nearly 23 months old now and last week told us 'no no' when we went to put him into it at night. But before this the Grobag has been useful indeed.
In the summertime we would put him into light clothing and then into the Grobag. We knew he would not get too hot because it has a medium tog value (warmth rating). Winter came and we put him into pajamas and then into the Grobag and he was warm. Using a Grobag also means we have not worried about him smothering himself with blankets because he is only in the bag and not under blankets or sheets. I will be sorry to see the Grobag go but he does not seem to want to be in it anymore.
In the early days when he was a baby and could not roll over we used a Deluxe Close and Secure Sleeper when we were away from home and he needed to nap. When your baby is small you can use it like a portable bed for them. It saves lugging round one of those portacots that are so heavy and take up valuable space.
The other product we still cannot do without is the GroEgg. At any time of the day I can go into our son's bedroom and check the temperature to see if the room is either too warm or too cold. As you know it is a SIDS risk for your child to be too hot or cold. Also at night the GroEgg doubles as a night light.

Well it is another busy week for us picking up newborns and their parents from hospitals in the Perth area. Please remember that our lovely Daimler limousines have tons of boot room for all your hospital things and presents/flowers no need to worry about how to get them home. We look forward to seeing you.
